Kitchen's Recipe, Sg Chua

i went to dis shop in April, cos it's newly open tat time.i wonder if it's still there now. if i were to rate it, it can only get points at their interior design, while zero for food, minus marks in hygiene n environment.

when we first went in, there's oni one table with customers, later i found out that's actually d boss or some of their own ppl. later there r many customers, bt most of them went out after seeing d menu. for a gang of customers when dey came in, i pointed at my food n shaked my head.. clever ppl will know wat's it mean la. haha..

Their menu's just a laminated photocopied A4 paper. front food, back beverage. d food there aint cheap too. range start from 5.90. beverage nt cheap either.

i ordered a curry chicken rice, while my fren ordered a fried kuey tiaw, n an onion ring.

my curry chicken rice's d worst curry i guess. it's nt that kinda thick curry, bt it's just some sort of readied curry paste which can be bought outside n it doesnt taste like curry. it's more like curry oil than curry. d potato's kinda hard, cucumber's so so thinly sliced n half of a boiled small chicken egg.


onion ring, as per can c oni 5 pcs. Expensive man! bt it's d most delicious one among 3 of all we've ordered.


my fren's fried kuey tiaw. oh no! even mamak can fry better than them. it's cooked without enuf heat. it's top with vege. it oni taste like thick soya sauce, n oil. cos kuey tiaw for frying purpose one is alr oily, if d chef dono hw to control d amount n temperature of oil, it will end up drinking kuey tiaw oil. fried kuey tiaw must be done in hi-temperature n fast cooked. or maybe they r preparing some other styles of fried kuey tiaw rather than mamak/penang style.



d coffee we've ordered were kinda bitter. bt oso can say it's better than d food there la.


y did i minus marks in hygiene n environment? d air cond's too cold at certain tables. d air flow is directly onto ur table, it doesnt oni make customers feel cold, bt d heat of food faded very fast oso.
worse is HOUSEFLIES!! hw can a restaurant gt houseflies, especially when there's air conditioner? if there are alr housefly out here, can u imagine d kitchen?
